ZEE5 has announced a new web series named Taj Season 2. Zee5 celebrated the success of the web series ‘Taj Divided by Blood’ and announced the second season of the series.

In this, Nashruddin Shah played the main role of Akbar. The web series is about the reign of Emperor Akbar who is in search of a worthy successor for his grand empire. In this series, you will be seen in the role of Aseem Gulati Salim, while Aditi Rao Hydari is playing the role of Anarkali, apart from these many actors have played important roles.

Taj Season 2 Web Series Release Date

The series is based on Romance, Drama, and Action and is directed by Ronald Sculpello. The first season of ‘Taj – Divided by Blood’ is directed by Ron Scalpello. The second season of the series titled ‘Taj Reign of Revenge’ will stream on ZEE 5 from May 12, 2023.

The story of the series is the story of Emperor Akbar of the Mughal Empire and his right to the throne. It is shown in the series that Akbar is looking for a worthy successor to take over the reins of his empire. Akbar tells his three sons when the time comes to choose a successor. They will not look at the age but the qualification. The problem is that all three have different abilities but the hunger for power is equal in all. Prince Salim is more interested in art and the royal lifestyle. There is a fight between the three sons of Emperor Akbar to sit on the Mughal throne.
